Do I need an Online Business Manager or a Virtual Assistant?

This is one of my most asked questions and what I always tell people is that a VA is equipped to take those little tasks off your desk that distract you from money-making activities. Things like social media, repurposing content, scheduling your newsletter, etc.

An OBM is skilled in high-level thinking, project management, and executing or delegating the tasks that are going to uplevel your business.

Am I really ready to work with an OBM?

If you’ve reached the point where you can no longer increase your income or impact alone because there aren’t enough hours in the day and you’re ready to have another high-level thinker, strategist, and delegator to help you manage all the moving pieces in your business then you’re ready for an OBM.

If you’re just looking for someone to clean up your social media profiles, post in Facebook groups, and organize your inbox then you’d be better suited for a Virtual Assistant. What if I don't use all the hours I purchased?

Because we block off time in our schedule to work with clients on retainer this affects the number of other clients we can work with so that we’re able to offer you top-notch quality. Because of this unused hours are not eligible for a refund and do not roll over into the next month.

However, if we notice a client is consistently not giving us enough work to maintain their current package we will let them know and give them the option of choosing a smaller package.

I work weird hours. When are you available?

My team is available between 10am and 6pm Monday through Friday. We do not answer business-related texts or emails after 6pm or on the weekends.

What if I need a service you don't provide?

This happens. We’re not FB ads specialists or copywriting pros but we’ve got great connections in the online space. As your OBM team, we will source and screen any specialty contractors for you, work within a budget you set, onboard them to the team, and be their point of contact for the duration of the project.

How do you organize your projects?

We currently use Trello to organize our client projects. Once we finish our initial 90-minute strategy call we’ll set up a dedicated Trello board for your project and give you access so that you can leave comments, add feedback, and track the general progress.
